Moldova Competition 2011 A total of eight students will be selected by the judges to participate in the trip. The eight students will represent the best out of all of those who audition. Trip is scheduled for the last week of August (8-27-11 to 9-5-11) depending on tickets purchase. Our 10 day schedule focuses on student’s individual instrumental study, public performance and help to a local orphanage. Concert will be held in the Organ Hall of Chisinau Moldova Republic or Kishinev Composer Association. Students will have the opportunity to take lessons with local head teachers of the music school for talented musicians - Porumbescu Music School. Excursions include an organized city tour along with trips to a local museum, visiting local families. Details Audition will be held on June 26, 2011 at “Mi La’s Debut” School of Music (326 Route 22 West, Suite 10B, Green Brook NJ, 08812). Total tour fees are $1,750 per person (airfare ticket price is additional and will be around $1,500 each). Fee includes: Tuition, room and board (3 meals a day), practice with local teachers, city tour and museums, transportation during the trip and to and from the airport (here and Moldova). Application Fee and requirement: Performers need to be age 12-18 (piano or violin) and must have a valid US travel document. Each performer needs to audition (live) with advanced original repertoire: All music needs to be memorized.
